NYU students weigh in on New York mayoral race #Reuters

Nineteen-year-old Dion Aya said candidate Zohran Mamdani is “the most clear about his intended goals.” Twenty-year-old Omar Raza said young people believe the election impacts not only New York, but the country too. Alexs Levy, 19, echoed Raza’s remarks, adding that the mayoral election “feels like it’s kind of amplifying the divide that we feel.”
