Systematix Research की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पिछले एक साल में Gold Prices लगभग दोगुनी हो गई हैं. इसकी वजह से भारतीय परिवारों की कुल संपत्ति (Total Wealth) में लगभग 100% की बढ़ोतरी हुई है — अब यह बढ़कर करीब ₹3 लाख 24 हजार अरब रुपये हो गई है!
भारत के घरों में करीब 24,000 टन सोना मौजूद है, जो दुनिया के कुल सोने का 11% हिस्सा है. मतलब, दुनिया में जितना सोना गहनों के रूप में रखा गया है, उसका हर 10वां हिस्सा सिर्फ भारत के घरों में है!
लेकिन यहां एक दिलचस्प बात है — भले ही कागज़ पर हमारी Net Worth बढ़ गई हो, लेकिन लोगों के spending habits यानी खर्च करने के तरीके में कोई खास बदलाव नहीं आया.
डेटा बताता है कि लोगों की Real Income (असल कमाई) बढ़े तो खर्च बढ़ता है, लेकिन सोने की बढ़ी कीमत से नहीं. क्योंकि सोने की बढ़त से जेब में ₹1 भी नहीं आता — बस कागज़ पर उसकी वैल्यू बढ़ती है.
यानी, सोना सिर्फ एक ज्वेलरी नहीं, बल्कि एक Powerful Investment है जो समय के साथ आपकी Notional Wealth को बढ़ा देता है — भले ही आपकी जेब वही रहे!
A new report by Systematix Research reveals that India’s household wealth has doubled in the past year, thanks to the sharp rise in gold prices. With nearly 24,000 tonnes of gold, Indian households hold around 11% of the world’s total gold reserves. As prices doubled, the overall notional wealth of Indian families increased to ₹3.24 lakh crore. However, despite this paper gain, people’s spending habits haven’t changed much. Experts say real income, not asset value, drives actual consumption. When income rises by 1%, spending typically increases by 0.6%. But when gold prices rise, it doesn’t add cash to people’s pockets—it only boosts their on-paper wealth. The report highlights that gold remains one of the strongest and safest investments, enhancing household net worth while preserving long-term value.
