250kg WWII bomb at Changi Airport construction site successfully disposed of
The 250-kilogramme World War II bomb found at a Changi Airport construction site has been successfully disposed of. Singapore Armed Forces personnel had assessed the bomb to be unsafe to move. Changi Airport Group said the disposal has had no impact on airport operations. No issues were observed after checks were done on the infrastructure and systems in the vicinity of the site.
